Entrepreneurs and their teams will be given access to the İTÜ Çekirdek open office until the Big Bang Start-Up Challenge in December. These entrepreneurs will be able to use the open office in the iGA Management Unit whenever they want, developing their projects while keeping in close contact with the experts at Istanbul Airport until the iGA Incubation Center is up and running.
The Entrepreneurship Training Program, inspired by the entrepreneurship courses at Berkeley and Stanford Universities, and customized to the needs of the entrepreneurs, is presented by İTÜ Çekirdek trainers.
From finance to marketing and from law to HR processes, more than 500 volunteer İTÜ Çekirdek mentors, all of whom are specialized in their respective fields, will assist entrepreneurs on their path to success.
Entrepreneurs in the iGA HUB program are provided with mentorship from the Administrators and Specialists at iGA. Thanks to this initiative, entrepreneurs will gain insight into both the technical and the business model scope of the projects they are developing for easy integration into the iGA units and processes. The first stage of a successful PoC (Proof of Concept) is to develop the solution together with the people needing the solution.
With the projects they are planning to bring to life, entrepreneurs have access to iGA's own units, as well as all the business partners including service providers, airlines, ground servicing companies and cargo operators, with the support of iGA Specialists.
The entrepreneurs of iGA HUB, the collaboration between iGA and İTÜ ARI Teknokent, have access to the business networks of both organizations and are permitted to join the sectoral/corporate meetings.
Meetings with Turkey’s leading investors are organized for the entrepreneurs, with the objective of increasing their possibility of receiving investment and being able to expand their network.
Entrepreneurs can take advantage of more than 40 special perks and discounts specific to İTÜ Çekirdek.
Basic engineering equipment is provided at the İTÜ Çekirdek Prototyping Workshop in order to support the realization process of the initiatives. Entrepreneurs can make use of this Workshop by reservation.
Entrepreneurs are provided with support and a professional communication consult on their promotional activities to help them become more visible in the national press (newspaper, journal, television, etc.) and on digital media. The entrepreneurs’ projects are promoted through the İTÜ ARI Teknokent and iGA press-media network.
Entrepreneurs that are accepted into the Pre-Incubation Stage of the iGA HUB Program and who pass the End-of-Training assessment have the opportunity to take part in the Big Bang finals where they may win the Big Bang awards and investments. iGA's special TRY 800,000 prize for Civil Aviation initiatives as well as millions of lira which was announced on the Big Bang stage (TRY 458,000,000 in cash and investments in 2021) are waiting for the entrepreneurs!
